How does Profhilo work?
Profhilo harnesses the power of hydration to improve the overall texture and tone of your skin. A solution of hyaluronic acid and other nutrients are injected into 5 key areas of the face (the tops of cheeks, sides of the face, lines around the mouth, nasolabial folds and laughter lines), or into the neck, chest and décolletage.
You will notice a more hydrated appearance in your skin immediately after treatment. Profhilo also has a prolonged, stimulating effect on dermal cells, so you will see an overall improvement in skin tone, texture, and elasticity after 8 weeks. Two sessions are required for optimal results. Results last around 6 months.

Pre-Treatment Care
- Avoid anti-inflammatory and blood-thinning medications (such as Aspirin, Motrin, Advil, or Aleve) for at least 24 hours prior to treatment

- Don’t apply makeup or skincare products to the area to be treated on the day of your appointment
Post-Treatment Care
- Do not apply any skincare products or makeup to the treated area for at least 24 hours
- Avoid hot baths, showers, and saunas for at least 48 hours
- No vigorous exercise for 48 hours
- Limit sun exposure and apply sunscreen with at least SPF 30 whenever exposed to sunlight for 2 weeks after procedure
- Avoid touching the treated area for 24 hours
- Wait at least 2 days before receiving any other cosmetic treatments

Profhilo treatment requires no cuts, incisions or stitches, although the procedure may cause some minor pain or discomfort. Clients generally describe the feeling as a small scratch as the needle enters. For those nervous about pain, we can use an anesthetic to numb the area.
