Shave the treatment area the night before your appointment.
Do not wax in the 4 weeks leading up to your appointment as pigment is required in the hair follicle for the laser to identify the hair and treatment to be effective.
Avoid direct sunlight 4 weeks prior to your treatment if you have had direct sun exposure.
Avoid using topical creams, moisturisers, body oils, colognes or perfumes to the area being treated 24 hours prior to treatment. Ensure all fake tan is removed and there is no residual fake tan present on the skin 24 hours before your treatment.
Post-Treatment Care
- Sun Avoidance: Minimize sun exposure and use broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 regularly. Sun protection is crucial for optimal healing.
- Avoid exercise or any activity causing perspiration for at least 24 hours.
- Redness is common for a couple of hours to a couple of days following treatment. The redness is a natural response, and usually disappears within a few hours.
- Avoid swimming pools and spas treated with chemicals or chlorine until the skin returns to its normal condition.
- Avoid hot showers until the skin returns to its normal condition.
- Wash the treated area gently with mild, unscented soap and pat dry (do not rub)
