Laser hair removal

Hair removal is a time-consuming, tedious daily task for many people. While traditional hair removal methods be effective for temporary reduction of hair, they do not provide a long-term solution.

So, it’s no wonder that laser hair reduction has become one of the world’s most common cosmetic procedures. As a top dermatology and aesthetic clinic in Dubai, Omnicare provides simple, reliable, and effective laser hair reduction for long-term hair removal.

How does Laser hair removal works

Laser hair reduction is performed with Candela Laser Corporation’s patented Dynamic Cooling Device™ (DCD). This machine prepares the skin for treatment by spraying the outermost layer with a cooling burst of cryogen, milliseconds before a targeted laser pulse. DCD helps ensure that the treatments are as safe and comfortable as they are effective.

The laser beam is made up of precisely controlled pulses of energy, which are absorbed by the melanin in the hair. The energy heats the hair, right down to the root, safely destroying it. At any one time, only 10-20% of hair follicles will be in the anagen (or “growth”) phase, so several courses of treatment are needed to ensure all follicles are permanently affected and will not produce any more hair.
